Last weekend we harvested fresh flowers and leaves for making tea!
Every year we work with the Kindergarten class in the spring to sow seeds directly in the garden. In these two garden beds (dedicated for "kindie" use) we have the kids grow flowers, which are great for the kindergartners to enjoy when they come back to school in the Fall. Last spring, we dedicated one of these kindie garden beds to growing flowers that can be used to make tea. The kids planted chamomile, hyssop and bee balm with pretty beautiful results!
